With this information, pursuant to articles 13 and 14 of the GDPR-EU Regulation 2016/679, Cristiano De Liberato, data controller, provides users of the cristianodeliberato.it website, hereinafter referred to as the “site”, some information relating to the cookies used (cookies = text files created on the site user’s computer) or whose installation is permitted and to any e-mail addresses, personal names and web addresses provided when completing the appropriate forms on the website. “site” (form=mirror, generally similar to a table, set up with delimited spaces in which to type text and/or numbers) for sending comments and/or requests for direct contact and/or joining the possible “Newsletter” function of the “site”.

What personal data is collected and why
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the “site”, the data entered (provided) in the comments form is stored in an archive (database), in addition to the visitor’s IP address and the browser user agent string, to facilitate the detection of the spam.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) can be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The privacy policy of the Gravatar service is available here. After your comment is approved, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media
If you upload images to the “site”, you should avoid uploading images that include embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the “site” can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Data retention (Data center)

The “site” data is hosted on the Linux CentOS 6.6 web server of the service provider MisterDomain which takes care of its maintenance and protection: through this link it is possible to obtain further information on the provider’s “Data centers”.

Cookies

Cookies are sent by a web server (web server = the system on which the visited site is running) to the user’s browser (browser = program suitable for internet browsing) and stored on the latter’s computer; they are then re-sent to the website at the time of subsequent visits. The electronic mail addresses (email), personal names and any web addresses provided by users for comments and/or to be contacted directly and/or to subscribe to the possible “Newsletter” function of the “site” are not shared with subjects third parties and have no other purposes than those expressly linked to the correct functioning of the requested service. The electronic mail addresses (email), personal names and any web addresses provided can be removed from the archives (database) of the “site” by sending a simple request to: info@cristianodeliberato.it.

How long your data is kept
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so I can automatically recognize and approve any subsequent comments instead of keeping them in a moderation queue.

For users who register on the “site” (if any), the personal information they provide in their user profile is also stored. All users can see, edit or delete their personal information at any time (except their username which they cannot change). Website administrators can also see and edit this information.

What rights do you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive a file exported from the “site” with your personal data i.e. the data you have provided. You can also request that all personal data concerning you be deleted. This does not include data that I am obliged to keep for administrative, legal or security purposes.
